What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra is a practice of guided meditation, done lying down, that gently leads us into a state of deep rest and harmony. In this restful state, we allow ourselves to heal, restore, and awaken to our innermost, all-knowing, and all-welcoming self.

Get cosy, comfortable and ‘just be’.

Through practicing Yoga Nidra again and again, we learn to access a transitional state somewhere between ‘asleep’ and ‘awake’. As we rest here, we can meet all of our sensations, feelings, emotions, thoughts and beliefs in a new way. We learn to be with our whole self – our whole experience - with a dreamlike quality that is more spacious than our thinking mind.

Find a quiet, cosy space at home where you can fully relax and let go. Wrap yourself in warmth, and ease into your weekend with this nourishing practice. Have your favourite cup of tea or coffee ready for afterwards, as you re-energise and embrace the calm that Yoga Nidra brings.
